John Lambrecht- Owner/Broker
John Lambrecht (Jay) is the fifth generation of his family to serve Metro Detroit’s real estate market, continuing a tradition that spans more than 100 years. In 2013, he founded Lambrecht Realty with the vision of creating a brokerage known for exceptional customer service and a client-first approach to both residential and commercial real estate.
John began his career early, working in property management at just 16 years old for his family’s company at the historic 400,000-square-foot Book Tower and other commercial buildings in downtown Detroit. He continued in this role through his studies at the University of Detroit Jesuit and after graduating from Loyola University Chicago, gaining valuable experience in building operations, sales, and development.
With nearly three decades of experience, John has built his reputation on integrity, dedication, and results. His expertise spans every corner of the market, from luxury homes, condos, and historic properties to land, warehouses, office buildings, and large-scale developments.
In addition to Lambrecht Realty, John operates several companies that provide clients with complete real estate solutions:
Lambrecht Management – delivering professional property and association management services.
Lambrecht Pryse Financial – a mortgage brokerage offering tailored financing solutions.
Works with Action Group Insurance to provide clients with property and casualty insurance services.
These complementary businesses ensure clients have access to a full spectrum of support—buying, selling, financing, insuring, and managing—under one trusted umbrella.
Beyond real estate and financial services, John has also contributed to Detroit’s hospitality scene as the founder of two of the city’s most notable restaurants: Bookies Bar & Grille and Fountain Bistro in Campus Martius Park.
